The Alamo Scouts Historical Foundation will no longer produce a printed edition of our RECON magazine. Instead, we have switched to an online Flipbook format. Due to the extreme rise in printing, postage, and the logistical challenges of going to press, the RECON magazine will only be available online as a digital edition. Many nonprofit organizations are moving in this direction, and we feel it’s time for the ASHF to do the same. Advantages of moving to a digital format: in addition to lower costs, we can now produce multiple issues throughout the year. We’re also able to embed YouTube videos directly on the pages, and all web links are active and clickable We think you’ll really enjoy this new online format.
