ASHF Historian Lance Zedric speaks at the National Purple Heart Day ceremony. The event took place on August 7, 2022 at the Chatham-Auburn VFW Memorial Post 4763 in Chatham, Illinois. Lance is a noted author and veteran of several books and wrote the first published history of the Alamo Scouts of World War II. Vietnam War Medal of Honor recipient Hal Fritz also spoke at the ceremony. Watch the video
